The Quaker Oats Company has announced a recall of a limited number of two-pound boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix due to the potential presence of undeclared milk.
This recall was initiated after the company was alerted by a retail partner about the issue.
Consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk are at risk of experiencing serious or even life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the affected product.
Fortunately, no allergic reactions related to this recall have been reported so far.

The recalled pancake mix was available for purchase starting November 18, 2024, and was distributed to select retailers across 11 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah, and Wisconsin.
The product is packaged in a cardboard box, and consumers can identify the recalled items by checking the “BBD” (Best By Date) information located on the top panel of the box.
